I am Sumao and I started my career in design back in 2006 when I chose to study fashion and design instead of a conventional science degree. I just felt that I had to do something different. I worked in fashion and garments till 2017 when I moved to Spain. My world changed and I felt a bit like a fish out of water, it was great living in a new exciting country but I could not get placed in the fashion industry here. Kinda as a no brainer I started teaching English. It was okay. I was earning enough but I was not satisfied. My inner creative designer felt suffocated. I WANTED FREEDOM, INDEPENDENCE, CREATIVITY AND TO MEET INTERESTING PEOPLE.
I felt I had to go back to design, but this time do something a bit different. I had tried selling clothes in Spain and felt I needed a website, so I tried to DIY one and failed utterly; but I learnt somethings. 1. This was a very interesting field of design 2. It was the something I liked 3. Its not easy to DIY websites, it’s better to go to professionals. So I decided to do a master’s in Web design and Development from CICE; a well renowned institute in Madrid. After successfully completing my course I started offering my service to my friends and acquaintances. Slowly I started working with clients from all over Europe and today I have amazing loyal clients who are good friends. I WAS FINALLY DOING A CREATIVE JOB WHILE HELPING PEOPLE WHO WANTED TO DO BUSINESS
